You will need

  1. Channi (Indian Coffee Filter)
  2. Indian Coffee Blend
  3. Hot Water Kettle
  4. Timer

Steps

  1. Add coarsely ground coffee to the upper container of the Channi.
  2. Assemble the Channi and container.
  3. Pour boiling water into the upper container.
  4. Allow the decoction to slowly filter into the lower container for 6-8 hours.
  5. Mix the decoction with hot milk and sugar to taste.
  6. Savor the rich and aromatic flavors of Channi Coffee.

Coffee-to-Water Ratio

Use a 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio (e.g: 20g coffee for 80g water).

Brewing Time

Takes about 4 minutes for the decoction.

Water Temperature

Use boiling water.

This method is known for its slow and long brewing process, similar to South Indian filter coffee.
