You will need

  1. South Indian Filter
  2. Coffee powder (Indian Coffee Blend)
  3. Hot Water Kettle
  4. Timer

Steps

  1. Add ground coffee to the upper container of the filter.
  2. Assemble the filter and container.
  3. Pour boiling water into the upper container.
  4. Allow the decoction to drip slowly into the lower container for 12 - 14 minutes.
  5. Once the decoction is ready, add hot water to enjoy as black or serve with milk and sweetener to taste.

Coffee-to-Water Ratio

Use a 1:4 coffee-to-water ratio (e.g: 20g coffee for 80g water).

Brewing Time

Takes approximately 15 minutes to extract a good decoction.

Water Temperature

Use boiling water.
